Privacy Policy

Last updated: [Month DD, YYYY]

The short version

  • We don't use cookies for analytics or advertising, and we don't run tracking pixels.
  • We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms, by email or by phone.
  • We use it to answer you. We don't sell it or share it for advertising.

[Rabb-it legal entity name] ("Rabb-it," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the rights you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form or request a demo, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company, job title, and the content of your message. We also keep what you send us when you email or call us.

Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. We don't use it to build a profile of you.

2. Cookies and tracking

The Site doesn't use analytics, advertising or social-media cookies, and doesn't load tracking pixels or third-party scripts. Our fonts and videos are served from our own domain.

Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to filter bots and malicious traffic. They don't track you across sites, and because they're required to keep the Site secure, they don't require consent.

If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your questions, quote requests and demo requests
  • To schedule and follow up on meetings you ask for
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site
  • To comply with legal obligations

We won't add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to. You can stop hearing from us at any time by replying to any message or emailing [privacy@rabb-it domain].

4. Legal bases (EEA and UK)

If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information to take steps you've asked for before entering into a contract with us (such as preparing a quote or a demo), on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and keeping the Site secure, and where needed to meet a legal obligation.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that process it on our behalf under contract: Cloudflare (website hosting and security) and HubSpot (our CRM, where form submissions are stored)
  • Professional advisors and authorities when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety
  • A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets

6. Third-party links

The Site links to other services, such as Calendly for booking a demo and LinkedIn. When you follow those links, the other service's privacy policy applies.

7. International transfers

Rabb-it is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Data retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our business relationship, and for up to [X years] after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email [privacy@rabb-it domain]. We'll verify your identity before responding, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

EEA and UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

US residents (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws) may use an authorized agent to submit a request. If we deny your request, you can appeal by emailing [privacy@rabb-it domain] with "Appeal" in the subject line. Because we don't sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of; we also honor Global Privacy Control signals should that ever change.

Canadian residents may access and correct their personal information and withdraw consent, and may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada with concerns.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we'll highlight them on the Site.
